01 The introduction process

A clear process from introduction to completion.

Every introduced transaction follows a defined route. You know what is happening, your client knows what happens next, and responsibility for progressing the finance requirement sits clearly with Arclen.

02 Why introducers work with Arclen

What you need from the broker handling your client.

An introduction places an existing relationship in somebody else's hands. Arclen is structured around protecting that relationship while taking responsibility for the finance transaction.

01 Assessment

Specialist assessment

The opportunity is understood before it is taken to lenders.

We assess the transaction, the funding requirement, the intended exit and the issues likely to affect lender appetite before establishing the route forward.

02 Client handling

Professional client handling

Your client deals directly with the person responsible for progressing the transaction.

The conversation remains commercial, informed and focused on the client's objective rather than simply collecting information for lender submission.

03 Communication

Clear communication

You receive appropriate updates as the transaction reaches meaningful milestones or something material changes.

You should not need to contact your client to discover whether the transaction is progressing.

04 Execution

Transaction ownership

Arclen manages the finance process from assessment through lender engagement, valuation, legal progression, conditions and completion.

Responsibility for coordinating the funding transaction remains clear throughout.

05 Relationship retained

Relationship protection

The introduction does not become an attempt to replace your client relationship.

Arclen's role is to deliver the specialist property finance requirement and support the relationship that created the introduction.

03 Commercial arrangement

Commercial terms agreed before the introduction proceeds.

Where an introduction is made on a fee-sharing basis, the commercial arrangement is agreed between Arclen and the introducer before work begins.

The structure will depend on the nature of the relationship and the work being undertaken, but the basis of the arrangement will be clear from the outset.

Agreed before work begins
Commercial arrangement documented Payment basis agreed upfront Completion and fee position recorded No ambiguity over the introduction
04 Introduced case assessment

Every introduced transaction is assessed the same way.

The assumptions behind the transaction are reviewed, the risks are identified while there is still time to structure around them, the funding routes are assessed and the lender approach is prepared before anyone is contacted.

Your client is not passed to a panel. The transaction is understood first.

05 Communication

Visibility throughout the transaction.

You are updated at the points that matter — when the client has been contacted, when the funding position is established, when the transaction moves materially and when something changes that affects the route forward.

You also retain a direct line to the person responsible for the transaction.

06 When something changes

If the transaction changes, the process does not disappear into a restart.

Valuations change. Completion dates move. Costs increase. Lender appetite changes. Because the transaction has already been assessed and structured, Arclen can identify what the change affects and reassess the route forward.

The introducer is informed where a material change affects the expected outcome or progression of the transaction.

Discuss an introduction.

If you have a client requiring specialist property finance, share the transaction details with Arclen and we will assess the appropriate route forward.

This is an introduction, not an application. We ask only for what is needed to establish the funding position.
